Flo Rida R.O.O.T.S.
Flo Rida in R.O.O.T.S.
It honestly is sad to see what is popular in today’s music. The fact that so many people are blasting this through their car stereos or playing these songs at night clubs and Disk Jokey sets is just absolutely pitiful. Flo Rida is merely a plastering who can’t come up with his own material. “Right Round” is the epitome of plagiarist in my mind when it comes to music. I don’t mind if an artist decides to remake a song based upon their own interpretation.

Flo Rida
That’s why we have remixes. The fact that Flo Rida decided to “sample” other artists songs and rewrite them over his rhymes, beats, and lyrics is just absolutely degrading. My biggest hate on this album goes to “Sugar” because Flo Rida ripped off Eiffel 65 (they are currently called, “Bloom 06”). Not only is the chorus melody that he ripped off from that song annoying, but the rapping in the verses isn’t helping me appreciate this song any more because you can’t understand what he saying.
The only thing that I actually like in this song is Winter’s vocals. Other than that, “Sugar” is just a rip off. If you want to hear some good music, go listen to Bloom 06. Don’t waste your time or your money on this pathetic remake of “Blue (DA Ba Dee)”. If Flo Rida or any other hip-hop/rap artist decides to sample other artist’s material, I weep for the future of music.
I have to say I am very surprised to read the bad reviews of this album. I buy lots of CD, lots and lots of them, and this is one of the very best I have bought lately. This album rocks and moves from the beginning until the end. There is no bad song on here.
